Hurricane Irma Statement
First Baptist New Port Richey statement on Hurricane Irma:
First Baptist stands ready to deploy any and all resources at our disposal to serve our community in the event of a natural disaster. We are working diligently to connect those with specific needs to those who can serve to fill those needs.
We are not a government approved shelter. Government officials have instructed us to direct anyone seeking shelter to an approved facility at Pasco County Emergency Shelters. For a complete list, visit http://www.pascocountyfl.net/index.aspx?NID=712
We urge you to monitor this situation carefully for the safety and security of you and your family. We strongly encourage you to make proper preparations now. For helpful information regarding hurricane preparedness, visit https://www.ready.gov/
We are currently considering how Hurricane Irma might impact our ministry schedule. Our office will be closing at noon on Friday, September 8, and a determination regarding Sunday services will be made no later than Saturday. Stay connected by visiting http://www.fbcnpr.com/ or our Facebook page.
If there is anything our church can do to help in any way, please do not hesitate to ask. The church office phone is 727-849-4210.
