Educated at Pasco Hernando State College with a focus on business & accounting, David Phillips spent the first 25 years of his career as a business banker in the Tampa Bay community. David has served the Lord in various ministries at First Baptist , such as Small Group leader, deacon, & Church Treasurer. David joined the staff of First Baptist in 2018 & is excited to watch God work through the people at FBC. His life verse is I Samuel 12:24.
He & his wife Anne have two daughters, Haley & Emma. They have been members of First Baptist since 2005. Their family enjoys living in Florida & all the wonderful things come with living that close to the water.

Billy Cronin serves as the Minister to Young Adults and Young Marrieds at First Baptist. A graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute, Trinity College of Florida, and Western Seminary, he has served in various ministries in several churches in South Carolina and Florida. He has been married to his best friend Elizabeth since 2019, and their daughter City was born in 2022.

Joining our staff in 2020, Billy is passionate about teaching the Scriptures and helping young adults and young married couples grow in their apprenticeship to King Jesus and live out their allegiance to him.

Brant was born and raised in Brandon, Florida. He attended Liberty University in the Honors Program, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Pastoral Leadership and a minor in Biblical Studies, then attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning an Advanced Master of Divinity degree. He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry at First Baptist Church of Brandon, Florida in January 2025.

Brant strives to be the type of man that someone could describe as living worthy of the gospel of Christ. A man who strives to live righteously, live in unity with all believers, and works in cooperation with believers to expand God’s kingdom.

Greg is a seasoned music leader with over twenty years of experience in developing a culture of worship and building relationships within the church and local community. Greg seeks to use the gifts that God has granted to him to help train, teach, and lead others to experience God through worship, and to encourage others to praise and exalt God with their lives daily.

God has blessed Greg’s life richly and while in college he met the love of his life, Lisa. They have been married for 24 years and have four teenagers; Caleb (19), Hannah (17), Joshua (15), and Aaron (14). They love to hang out as a family, play games, go to the beach, and just be together as a family. Greg and his family love the local church and all of them serve in various aspects of the local church in worship ministry, kids ministry and student ministry. They currently reside in Hudson, Florida.

Sarah started as the Preschool Ministry Director in 2019 before accepting the full-time position of Children’s Ministry Director. She has been an active volunteer in children’s ministries including Upward Soccer and VBS since becoming a member in 2016.

Sarah and her husband Jim were married in 2005. They have 4 children: Jeremiah, Gabby, Benjamin and Emmaleigh. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places.
